Translation and immigration desks · live

Write the applicant down once. Catch the contradiction early.

For a licensed immigration consultant in Canada handling applicants’ cases. They filled the same details into many forms and checked them against each other by eye. I built one record per applicant that the forms are made from, with checks that read the record before anyone submits.

A simulation with a made-up applicant from Utopia, the made-up country used on specimen passports. The passport is drawn for this page. Nothing is uploaded or sent anywhere. The check messages are the tool’s own wording.

What it’s for

Four parts, plainly.

01

Who it’s for

A licensed immigration consultant in Canada handling applicants’ cases.

02

By hand, until now

They filled the same applicant details into many forms and checked them against each other by eye.

03

What I built

One record per applicant. The applicant fills in an intake form from a link on their phone in English or French, and the consultant reviews and merges each answer. It reads an uploaded passport, runs consistency checks (such as passport expiry against travel dates) and produces a fill sheet.

04

Where it is

Live and private: the first version is complete except portal autofill.

Rough edges

What it doesn’t do yet.

Honest line: every applicant above is invented; real cases stay private.
