Who it’s for
Someone about to send a folder of files to another person.
A spare page · built, not launched
For someone about to send a folder of files to another person. They used to check the file names, stray files, duplicates and photo location data themselves. PackClean checks for them, shows every change, and leaves the original alone.
Recipient preflight
PackClean finds compatibility problems, private location data, and package clutter—then shows exactly what the recipient will receive.
Works offline · macOS 14 and newerDrop a folder here, rather than an individual file.

The right side is the exact package PackClean will create.
8 files prepared. Your original folder is untouched.
A simulation with a made-up folder, not the Mac app. Nothing on your computer is read or written; the files, the photo coordinates and the export are pretend. Dragging the folder and the Finder peek are this page’s additions.
The last check before you hit send.

They checked file names, stray files, duplicates and photo location data themselves.
It checks a folder for names that break on Windows, Mac-only files, duplicates and GPS location in photos, and shows every change before export. You preview what the other person will get, then export a clean folder or ZIP. The original is never changed.

What it leaves alone, and why it’s a spare page.
Honest line: a spare page. PackClean is finished enough to try, but I’m holding it back for now, so it hasn’t launched.
